Elda Rotor attained the English rights through an agreement between Penguin Classics and Jayapriya Vasudevan and Helen Mangham at Jacaranda Literary. The book was released by an Indonesian publisher, Noura Books, and is currently being translated by Tiffany Tsao.

It includes seven short stories of several characters residing in Bloomington and has been praised for the seamless transition between Eastern and Western cultures.
